I started putting together this tribute for US Soldiers, and their families. I work on it from time to time. This is the version prior. Changes are at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (midway) and the United States Marine Memorial Statue (end). I was pretty amazed a few weeks ago when Airforce 1 flew over the sky line of New York...at an alarming low altitude, and escorted by a fighter jet. How could anyone make that mistake? You must be kidding me! To make it even worse, I heard it cost the tax payers of America $328,835.00. Are you kidding me again!! I don't understand how we go out and comletely panic the people of whose contry you lead, and then charge them $328,835.00 for their grief. I am also wondering, where are the pics? How did they come out? Can I have an 8 x 10?
That "Photo Op" was to have airforce one shot with the Statue of Liberty in the shot too. Why did we not use our skils, and edit some photos to create the idea? A fairly simple task, that many enjoy doing. And, it certainly would not of cost close to a half million dollars! It most easily could have looked better too, compositing images allows you to choose the best ones of each subject. Relighting and working over the image will allow it to be perfect. Too bad folks were not informed of this Phot Op of one of the most popular landmarks in our country. It would eased the panic, and possibly hatched an opportunity for the citizens to create the image themselves, instead of charging them $328,835.00 for it. I would have done one for sure, and not charged you a dime. Can I see the results you got from the shoot?
This is an RAAF F-111C fix I did awhile ago, just for fun. I really enjoy high speed aircraft, and working on images that incorporates them is enjoyable to me.
